IFAT Munich 2024 with PCH
When IFAT Munich 2024 opened its doors on 13.05.2024, it goes without saying that PCH was present. We showcased the latest trends and technologies from the world of occupational safety to all those interested at the largest trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Taking as its theme „Adapting to the consequences of climate change“, the trade fair in Munich drew over 140,000 visitors, which were able to meet 3,211 exhibiting companies.
Innovations in occupational safety
Our team unveiled a wide range of innovative products and solutions from the fields of occupational safety and workwear. Of particular interest was the prototype of a new work safety glove from ANSELL, scoring positive reviews from all sides. It impressed in particular due to its outstanding wet grip. We are delighted that we had the opportunity to present this glove.
MSA, our co-exhibitor, also generated a high level of interest. The focus here was particularly on the networked gas measurement devices, allowing active and very efficient safety monitoring of employees. The compressed air breathing apparatus and self-rescue devices were also at the centre of attention time and again.
A wide range of solutions for maximum safety
Visitors to our stand were also given detailed information about prescription safety eyewear and earmoulds. Such products are specifically designed to meet the individual requirements of users while also fulfilling the highest safety standards. The wide range of application possibilities in particular impressed many of those attending the event.
The scaffolding erected by our fall protection team turned out to be a real eye-catcher. Our colleagues presented a variety of practical fall protection solutions over an extensive course. The bright yellow manhole collar drew a lot of attention and sparked many conversations. Furthermore, visitors were able to observe various cable winches, rescue stretchers, tripods, helmet lamps, a range of harnesses and many other items involving personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPE) in action and even try them out for themselves.
We not only used the trade fair to present our products, but also to cultivate existing business relationships. We were also able to forge many new and interesting connections that hold great promise for future collaborations.
IFAT Munich 2024 enjoyed very good attendance overall and provided an excellent platform for presenting the latest developments to a wide audience. We are already looking forward to the next IFAT from May 4th to 8th, 2026!
