Construction get-together with VfL Potsdam

Our PCH store in Berlin opened its doors for a special event on February 21st, 2024: the VfL Potsdam construction get-together. This was the first time we were able to host this exclusive meeting and enjoyed the honour of welcoming representatives from various sponsors from the construction industry.

We not only wanted to give our guests a pleasant evening to mark the occasion, but also the opportunity to experience first-hand what PCH has to offer. That is why we had prepared a variety of stations allowing attendees to sample our products and talk shop.

Our Competence Centre for Fall Protection, which had set up a tripod in the middle of the store, was responsible for one of the stations. Courageous participants had the opportunity to hang themselves in a safety harness and experience the safety of our products first-hand. Our sales force demonstrated the innovations offered by modern protective gloves, while the team from our partner ELTEN used the 3D measurement station to provide information about safety shoes and semi-orthopaedic insoles. Another PCH employee gave a demonstration on skin care, highlighting how effective skin protection creams can be and which measures are part of a comprehensive skin protection plan.

These practical demonstrations were of course accompanied by inspiring speeches. Managing Director Dirk van Elten presented PCH and emphasised the importance of the collaboration for both sides together with the Managing Director of VfL Potsdam, Frank von Behren. It was made clear that everyone was looking forward to the years ahead together and that we would work to further consolidate this partnership.

Needless to say, there was no shortage of socialising. Ample drinks and food were served, resulting in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It was an exciting evening packed with interesting discussions, new insights and valuable contacts.
