PCH at the 2023 Handball Day

Füchse Berlin and 1. VfL Potsdam organised a double match day full of events on 26.11.23, which was all about promoting young talent and was celebrated as the ‘’Handball Day‘’. Together with various partners from its colourful network, the handball day was held in the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin. It was clear to us as a premium partner of 1. VfL Potsdam that we also wanted to be part of it.

A memorable day of handball for young and old

The handball teams from Max Camp e.V. and Pfeffersport Berlin got the event underway by demonstrating their enthusiasm for handball on the pitch. The Handball Association Berlin (HVB), together with the Berlin Disability and Rehabilitation Association (BSB) and AOK Nordost, also presented a series of further training programmes aiming to make handball more inclusive. The children also had the opportunity to get active and test their handball abilities at various interactive stations before the first whistle and between matches.

There were a total of 17 promotional stands set up around the hall as well as in the neighbouring hall – with PCH being right in the thick of it all. We were able to present a wide range of our high-quality occupational safety products across a total of 3 large tables.

Visitors had the opportunity to have their feet measured on site so that they could find the perfect fit for their safety shoes and then receive advice from us. Our cornhole ensured fun entertainment. Young and old alike were able to put their throwing skills to the test here.

The home victories were of course the sporting highlights. Füchse Berlin triumphed 37:31 against HSV Hamburg and 1. VfL Potsdam was also able to hold on to a narrow 28:27 victory against VfL Lübeck-Schwartau.
