Boring and interchangeable racing car designs across the various touring car classes had long been something of a thorn in Jan-Erik Slooten’s side. That’s why he came up with the idea for the RING POLICE company in 2010 and founded it two years later. Racing cars in the characteristic American police design then became a permanent fixture on the German motorsport scene and the RING POLICE team competed in the Porsche Sports Cup for the first time.
The IronForce Racing project, in which professionalism, approachability and fun in motorsport take centre stage, was launched in 2018 with the aim of bringing the motorsport experience back to fans and inspiring spectators.
The IronForce team centred around Jan-Erik Slooten has already participated in the VLN, the GT Masters as well as the Nürburgring 24-hour race on several occasions. The team most recently lined up at the start of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. This gave all motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to meet the team directly at the race track and get a glimpse behind the scenes. True to the team motto: MAKE MOTORSCHPOCHT GREAT AGAIN!
